One of the most likeable personalities in elite tour golf, Thongchai Jaidee, a former paratrooper in the Royal Thai Army, didn’t turn professional until the age of 30, but he has made up for lost time by becoming one of the most consistent players to have ever emerged from Asia. A three-time winner of the Asian Tour’s Order of Merit, the Thai legend claimed his first win on European soil at the Wales Open in 2012 and has been in fine form this season, too. Victory at the Porsche European Open in September came just before he made his debut for the International Team at the Presidents Cup, which was held in Korea. After some good finishes at the TGC in previous years, Thongchai will be looking to ensure the trophy stays in Thailand this time around.

Previous TGC Form : T-6 (2014), T-10 (2013), T-17 (2012), RTD (2011)
